Atmosphere in Santa Maria Novella Basilica in Florence, Italy (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this recording sitting in Santa Maria Novella Basilica, in Florence (Italy).
One can hear tourists and locals passing by, walking around, and sometimes sitting not so far from me. In the background, distant voices and noises coming from the entrance of the basilica. Regularly, one can also here a ticketing machine, and some people donating coins from time to time. Slightly after #2:35, one can also hear a distant police or ambulance siren. Finally, the atmosphere becomes a bit quieter at the end of the file.
Recorded in April 2024 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
